SEALIVE General Meeting, May 2020
On the 19th and 20th of May 2020, the SEALIVE team met online for the second consortium meeting. Originally scheduled to take place at project partner CEA’s facilities in France, the meeting was hosted online by the Miriam Gallur and Marian Garcia, the project coordinator team from ITENE. Project partners presented an overview of all work carried out to date in the various work packages, including updates on the novel materials being investigated to produce bioplastic. Later in the project, the new bioplastic solutions will be upscaled and demonstrated through eight end-applications. The team has made significant progress in defining business models to support the implementation of these applications, as well as the wider policy context to ensure their uptake in the future. It was a productive meeting and the team is looking forward to sharing their progress in the coming months.
